Endpoint Management & User Support

Every device managed, every user supported.

Overview

An endpoint is any device that connects to your network and accesses your data — laptops, desktops, mobile phones, tablets. In most organizations, endpoints outnumber every other type of managed asset by a factor of ten. They're also the attack surface that attackers target most aggressively: an unpatched laptop, a device with a weak password policy, or a workstation running outdated software is an open door.

Binary Barriers centrally manages every endpoint in your environment — enforcing policies, applying patches, monitoring health, and providing remote support — from a single management platform. Devices stay current, compliant, and secure without requiring your team to manage updates manually or wait for break-fix support when something goes wrong.

Endpoint management is also a productivity function. When software is deployed automatically, patches are applied in maintenance windows, and support issues are resolved remotely without dispatch delays, employees spend more time working and less time waiting for IT.

What's Included

Ideal Fit

Who This Is For

  • Businesses managing more than five devices across a distributed or growing team
  • Organizations that have experienced a security incident originating from an unmanaged or unpatched endpoint
  • Companies that rely on manual patching or ad hoc software deployment
  • Businesses with remote or hybrid teams where IT has limited physical access to devices
  • Organizations that need a clear inventory of every device, software version, and patch status across their fleet

Pain Points

Problems This Solves

  • "We have no idea what software is installed on our employees' computers"
  • "Patching is done manually when we remember — half our machines are months behind"
  • "A remote employee had a laptop issue and we had to ship it back to fix it"
  • "Someone installed unauthorized software that caused a security incident"
  • "Our IT provider does patching once a quarter at best"

Our Approach

How We Deliver It

1

Endpoint Enrolment

Every device is enrolled into our management platform — assigned to a user, classified by role, and inventoried with hardware and software details. You always know exactly what's in your environment.

2

Automated Patch Management

OS patches, firmware updates, and application updates are deployed automatically on a schedule that minimizes disruption — typically during evenings or weekends. Critical security patches are fast-tracked.

3

Policy Enforcement

Encryption, screen lock, password complexity, application allow-listing, and USB restrictions are enforced at the policy level — consistently across every managed device, regardless of where it's located.

4

Remote Support

When users have issues, we resolve them remotely through our endpoint management platform — no waiting for an on-site visit. Screen share and remote control are available immediately for any enrolled device.

5

Health Monitoring & Alerting

Endpoints are monitored for disk health, memory pressure, CPU anomalies, software failures, and security posture drift. Issues are flagged to our team before they become user-facing problems.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your endpoint management platform do?

Our platform gives us centralized visibility and control over every enrolled device: patch status, software inventory, encryption state, and last check-in time. We can push software, enforce policies, run remote support sessions, and remotely wipe devices — all without being physically present.

Does this work for remote employees?

Yes. Endpoint management works over the internet — devices don't need to be on the office network to receive patches, policy updates, or remote support. As long as the device is connected to the internet and enrolled, we can manage it.

How are patches tested before deployment?

We follow a staged deployment process: patches are deployed to a small test group first, monitored for issues over 24–48 hours, then rolled out to the broader fleet. Known problematic patches are held until fixes are confirmed.

Can you manage both Windows and macOS devices?

Yes. We manage mixed-OS environments through MDM platforms that support Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. Consistent policies across all platforms.

What happens when an employee leaves?

Device offboarding is a defined process: we remotely lock or wipe the device, revoke access to all corporate systems and Microsoft 365, and update the asset register. This happens same-day on request — preventing former employees from retaining access after they've left.
